La Follette Homestead Dedicated as Historical Monument
Philip La Follette, former Wisconsin governor, left, was one of the main speakers at the ceremony which dedicated the former homestead of the late United States Senator Robert M. LaF ollette Sr. at 733 Lakewood Blvd. as a national historical monument. Other guests were, from left, Lynn La Follette and her husband Bronson, who are the present occupants of the home, and Allen T. Edmunds, assistant regional director of the National Park Service. |
