State Capitol Rewiring and Remodeling Project
The desks and chairs of the state assemblymen are shown stored in the Assembly lounge while the Assembly chamber is recarpeted. Over a four-year period that started in 1961 the state Building Commission has spent $1.2 million for converting the Capitol's electrical system from direct current to alternating current. |
