First Baptist Church Children's Day Art Exhibit
Marianne Davies, a third grader, looks over a work created by a group of fourth graders which is on display at the First Baptist Church Children's Day art exhibit on display in the church library. The work represents a home like the one Jesus lived in as a boy and was built out of a small corrugated box covered with a paste mixture of flour, salt, and water and based on pictures they had seen of family dwellings in the time of Christ. The figures are dressed according to the style of the era. |
