Winner of Shopping Spree Contest
William Coughlin, winner of an A & P supermarket shopping spree, with his wife Barbara and their seven children posing in their living room with the $998 worth of groceries he was able to carry out of the supermarket in 15 minutes. The groceries included 96 lbs. of peanut butter, 50 tubes of toothpaste, 150 lbs. of laundry detergent, 10 turkeys and 20 cans of hair spray. |
