The Cozy Cottage

The Cozy Cottage | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
The large, wood framed 1905 cottage at Black Point stands at the crest of a gentle snowy slope framed by evergreens and bare deciduous trees. The cottage was built by Mrs. Conrad Seipp to allow her to spend more time in the spring and fall at Black Point Estate, since the main house did not have central heat. After Mrs. Seipp's death in 1920, the cottage was owned by her daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Henry Bartholomay, Jr.
