View across street towards the Layton Home for Incurables (also called Layton Home for Invalids). The home was suggested by Frederick Layton's wife, Elizabeth Hayman Layton. It was built in 1908 on the grounds of the Milwaukee Hospital and endowed by the Laytons. |
