Former Home of Benjamin F. Cram
Miss Janet Mcindoe (Mrs. Stephen Gregory) lived in this house at 16 N. Fairchild Street in the 1870s and held a kindergarten class which Stanley Hanks attended when he was four or five years old. From about 1883 until his death in 1916 Benjamin F. Cram lived in the house. B.F. Cram was a Major during the Civil War. Sometime in the 1930s the house was sold and torn down and replaced with an automobile garage. |
