Crawford Livingston, Sr., lived from 1811 to 1847 and was the father of Crawford Livingston, Jr., founder of Forest Lodge. In the painting, Crawford is standing next to a table and holding a document. His wife, Caroline, is seated next to him. His eldest son, Francis, is standing in front of Caroline.
DESCRIPTION
Photograph of an 1837 painting of Crawford Livingston, Sr., his wife and son. The painting was the work of John Livingston Harding. Murray K.
