Dickey Chapelle's caption, "The girls of Binh Hung village are very much part of its military posture. Uniformed, they drill on the landing zone to welcome visitors; in costume (as here), they execute a traditional Chinese sword dance for a village celebration. Stage lighting here was one of the floodlights — auto headlights — usually used in the village defense." |
