Black Point Estate
A winter view of the northeast side of the main house at Black Point Estate. There are two large chimneys, and first and second floor porches. A portion of the first floor porch is screened. Vines are growing on a low fence along a drive in the foreground. There is a small single story addition at the rear where a two-story attached "laundry house" originally stood. The house, overlooking Geneva Lake, was built by Chicago brewer Conrad Seipp in 1888 and initially named the Loreley. |
