Edward P. Bridgman
An eighth plate daguerreotype of Edward P. Bridgman, 1834-1915, as a young man. Bridgman served in the 37th Massachusetts volunteer Infantry, Company G in the Civil War. He came to Wisconsin in 1875, resided at Keshena on the Menominee reservation until 1875, homesteaded in Langlade County 1879-1882, resided in Antigo from 1882-1901 and in Madison from 1901-1915. He is the father of Louis Bridgman of Madison. The portrait is a front facing, bust figure. |
