Original caption reads: "No. 9 harvester-thresher as built in 1926. This was a large 16-foot machine and the heaviest harvester-thresher ever built by the Harvester Company. Its principal characteristics were the floating type header platform, drag type feeder, ball bearing cylinder, 4-section straw rack, recleaner, and 60-bushel grain tank located on top of the machine. This machine weighed approximately 10,650 pounds." |
