Barbershop in State Capitol Basement
A man is bending over to drink from a metal water fixture. Water from the fixture spouted up and back onto the fixture, supposedly making it "sterile." These are known in Wisconsin as "water bubblers." The drinking fountain had a marble basin and was run by compressed air. The photo caption reads: "Almost as good as a cool martini." |
