Piper Brothers Wholesale Bakers Truck
View across street towards the Piper Brothers bakery, which faced the Wisconsin State Capitol on the corner of E. Mifflin and N. Pinckney Streets. This truck, one of the first delivery trucks in Madison, has an enclosed cab, and doors on both sides of the back of the truck, which are open. On the side of the truck are signs that read: "Ask for Cloverleaf Bread" and "Piper Bros Wholesale Bakers." Pedestrians can be seen moving on the sidewalk behind the truck. |
