Ford and Fordson Exhibit
View across field towards a large canvas tent set up for the Ford and Fordson Exhibit by the Rock County Authorized Dealers. There are a number of Fordson tractors and other farm machinery arranged outside the tent, and groups of men are standing and posing around the tractors. On the right is a crowd of men, women and children. In the far background is a Ferris Wheel near a large building. The authorized dealers are from Janesville, Beloit, Evansville, Milton Junction, Edgerton, Orfordville, and Clinton. Fordson tractors were manufactured by the Henry Ford Company from 1916 through the 1930s all over the world, but only sold from 1918-1928 in the United States. |
