Portrait of Sally Bowles, of Washington, D.C., who was on campus to promote the recently formed Peace Corps as part of her job as "assistant to the associate director of personnel in charge of recruiting and training for the corps." She and her family lived in India while her father, Under Secretary of State Chester Bowles, was U.S. ambassador there from 1951 to 1953. |
