Fidel Castro Rally and Protest on University of Wisconsin Campus

U.W. students protest a rally by the Wisconsin Socialist Club, hosts of an event at the Wisconsin Union theater supporting Fidel Castro and protesting the recent abortive American invasion of Communist Cuba. Protesting anti-Castro students at the theater carry signs. The sign on the left is being carried by Luis Valdez, a Cuban student now living in Madison. Words on the sign read: "I am a Cuban. I hate Castro and/or Communism." |
