Children in Pool in China
Four children standing waist-deep in a cement pool. Around the pool men and a young child, all wearing head wraps, stand or sit on the cement wall surrounding the pool. Large buildings with thatched roofs are behind them. The smaller building in the middle closest to the pool is supported by stilts, and has decorative weaving or painting under the eaves. There are trees in the far background. The buildings have what Carrie described as the "horn-like" roofs seen in China and the Philippines. |
