International Scout SS II [SS 2] off roading near Lake Geneva, WI
Original caption reads: "Off-road racing is becoming an increasingly popular sport as the numbers of sports/utility vehicle owners grow. The International Scout SS-II, introduced in 1977, has proven to be a favorite vehicle with off-road racers. Recent Scout SS-II victories include the Class III SCORE World Championship Races at Riverside, CA, and the four-wheel drive production class at the Baja 1000 in Mexico. The Scout SS-II pictured was competing in a recent race near Lake Geneva, WI, and is included in the International Scout exhibit at the Chicago Boat, Sports and RV Show, January 4-8, McCormick Place. 1/4/78." |
