From Jim Allen: "1962 Scout 80 4x4 climbing rocky hill. This Scout is a mix of 1962 and 1963 features, so may be an engineering prototype. It has the rollup windows that debuted for '63 and it has the tailgate logo that updated in early '62 from 'IH' to 'International Scout.' It does not have the rear exit exhaust system that came for the '63 models and it does not have the enlarged rear side windows that came for '63. This image was used for marketing in things like brochures, where most people would not notice small discrepancies." |
