ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
From Jim Allen: "International V-304 V8, 304 cubic inch engine, ca. 1969. The V-304 was one of three "SV" (for Small V-eight) engines that debuted in 1959 for Light and Medium Duty International truck use in 266, 304 and 345 cubic inch displacements. The V-266 was used initially only for the Light Line, finding it's way into the Scout in 1967. The V-304 succeeded it for the 1969 800A. The V-345 eventually joined the Scout line in 1971 with the introduction of the Scout II. All the SV engines were very similar in design and had a good deal of parts interchangeability."
