Original caption: "International Scout for 1977 continues to be the only American-made light truck or recreation vehicle offering a factory-installed diesel engine. The Nissan CN6-33 six-cylinder diesel totals 198 cu. inches with a 3.27/3.94 bore/stroke and a 22-1 compression ratio. It develops 92 brake horsepower at 4,000 RPM and 137.5 lbs. ft. of torque at 2,000 RPM. Weight is 662 lbs. Reports have shown fuel economy in the 22-28 mpg range. TD3954. Photo#TF-1431 9/1/76. |
