From Jim Allen: "Early Scout developmental scale model, Royalite design, ca. 1959. One of the early steps in the design of the Scout was to make some scale models. This one was done while the design team was still working on ideas based on plastic (Royalite) or fiberglass construction. Once that material reverted back to steel, the design had to change." |
