200,000th International Harvester Scout driving off the assembly line at the Fort Wayne Works. Taken inside the plant with a frontal view. Original caption reads, "Photograph W-5933-- Almost eight years to the day after the first one was produced, the 200,000th Scout compact utility vehicle was driven off the assembly line at the Fort Wayne Works of International Harvester Company's motor truck division. In ceremonies heralding the milestone, the Scout is greeted by its new owner, Mrs. June Pontello, an employee at the Works. Mrs. Pontello's Scout is the first of the new models just introduced by International. Sharing the important moment with her are (from left) Homer C. Keck, manager of the Fort Wayne sales branch; R.E. Mills, superintendent of the Scout assembly line at the Works; and H.A. Ehrman, Works manager. MT-3267."
