From Jim Allen: "1980 Scout 434 economy Model data sheet. The 434 was announced on March 21, 1980, and this is the data sheet that accompanied the announcement. It was a four cylinder economy model but one with a little style. It was cancelled in June not long after the announcement the Scout Division was up for sale. It isn't clear whether any were actually produced. The 4-3-4 moniker stood for 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed and 4-wheel drive. It was EPA rated for 15.8 mpg city and a19.1 mpg highway." |
