ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
From Jim Allen: "1959 Prototype 4x4 Scout Chassis with 4-152 engine. The Scout was conceived before an engine was available for it. International soon put an engine into development but they weren't ready when the first chassis were, so A-55 engines from the recently developed (1958) Metro-Mite compact van was used. As the first five prototypes chassis were built, some were powered by the A-55 engine and some had prototype 4-152 slant fours. This is one of the latter. At least two and possibly three of the first five prototypes were powered by prototype 4-152 engines."
