Outdoor Science at Black Earth Creek
Three teen boys work together to build up the side of the creek to stop the flowing water from washing the soil away on an edge of Black Earth Creek west of Cross Plains. The boys are from West and East High Schools of Madison and are taking a five-week outdoor science course under the direction of the Wisconsin Conservation Department. They are Dick Klatt, Dennis Raffill, and Charles Bilkey. |
