One of 15 images of the tournament. Published in the Wisconsin State Journal on Jan. 4, 1955. Ingvar Sr. was born and raised in Norway and came to Wisconsin in 1925 to become one of America's top jumpers. He was national Senior Champion in 1952 and was named to the 1940 Olympic team. He retired after the 1954 season and devotes his time to coaching his four skiing sons. |
