Women Make Year's Supply of Lefsa
Three sisters gather at one of their homes to carry on a 30 year Christmas time tradition of making a year's supply of lefsa. Mrs. Roy J. Nelson, 145 Marquette Street, uses a stick known as a "floyve" to carry the sheets of lefsa from the table to the stove. The stick is also used to turn the lefsa while it bakes. She and her two sisters gathered at one of their homes to carry on a 30 year Christmas time tradition of making a year's supply of lefsa. |
