Kohler Aviation Schedule

A Milwaukee-Detroit schedule of the Kohler Aviation Corporation. This Kohler company was based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was unrelated to the Wisconsin manufacturers of plumbing fixtures. Kohler offered Wisconsin residents a direct "bridge across Lake Michigan" to Detroit and points east. The Loening amphibian airplanes that Kohler flew on this route were intended to reassure nervous passengers about the safety and reliability of over-water flight. |
