These four leaders are typical of our counselor staff." One photograph shows a group of campers in costume; the original caption notes: "The outstanding social event of the 1939 season--the large and important party given by President and Mrs. Roosevelt (with the assistance of Cabin I) for the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Notables from all over the world attended this very swanky affair." A final group portrait shows several campers lined up, each holding a metal pail; the original caption notes: "Members of the Camp Craft Committee on their way to a barbecue with the liquid refreshment for the event."
