Memorial Day
An Air Force color guard from Truax Field is in his position at the south entrance to the Wisconsin State Capitol with the Capitol flag at half mast to honor the state's war dead. To the left and behind the color guard is the cenotaph used in the wreath ceremony conducted by Madison veterans organizations and auxiliaries. Madison observed Memorial Day with a parade and three memorial services. |
