Farewell to the Madison Air Defense Commandant
Major General James C. Jensen is congratulated by Madison mayor Henry Reynolds, center, and president of the Chamber of Commerce Dorsey Botham at a farewell luncheon. Jensen has been commandant of the 30th Air Division of the North American Air Defense (NORAD) since the division was established in Madison in 1959. He is leaving to become vice-chief of staff of operations, Air Defense Command, at Colorado Springs, Colorado. |
