Gridiron Club Spring Dinner Menu Souvenir

Various political figures are wearing pilgrim suits and hats, and President Truman is saying, "Giddap," and using a bat labeled "Civil Rights" to beat a donkey labeled "Southern Democracy" in the Slough of Despond. Amongst the political figures likely portrayed are Thomas Dewey, Robert Taft, Douglas MacArthur, Josef Stalin, Henry Wallace, and George Kennan. Inscribed, "To my Esteemed 'Ray of Sunshine' Henle of the Radio with Heartiest Good Wishes April 10, 1948" and "C.K. Berryman May 12, 1948." |
