University of Minnesota Football Team's Victory Over the Badgers
The University of Minnesota football team beat the University of Wisconsin Badgers 26-7. The victory gave the Minnesota Gophers a tie with Iowa for the Big 10 championship, the first for the Gophers since 1941. Lorin Daggett, a West High School student, gets aid after being hit in the head by a steel frame attached to the goalpost. The Gophers were attempting to tear down the goalpost when this accident happened. |
