Rosa Fred (shown seated in center) was one of the guests entertained by the 11 Brittingham scholars now attending the University of Wisconsin. Seated at left is Jurger Sacklowski from Stuttgart, Germany. Standing are Henry Dieroxsens from Antwerp, Belgium, and Marianne Buck from Copenhagen Denmark. Thomas Brittingham Jr. died April 16, 1960. The Brittingham Scholars program, founded in 1953 continued through 1962. |
