National Bicycle Week
View from street of group of local boys taking part in a celebration of National Bicycle Week. Members of the Shaker-Callaway Post of the VFW were on hand to place strips of Scotch Lite on the boys' bicycles and are also pictured. Sterling Standiford, a State Trooper, was also present to explain proper operation of bicycles on streets and highways. The activities took place outside of Sherman Hardware. |
