The trip began 10 years ago in his home village near Hanover, West Germany, and has taken him to Asia, Africa, Europe and North and South America. He plans to visit Japan after leaving the United States. He said he probably would return home in 1972." According to Stücke's website, he never did return home and has continued bicycling around the world at least until 2013. |
