Farm produce for sale from farm trucks at the Municipal Market on the Capitol Square. The Municipal market was established by a committee of women in July, 1917. It began with three producers which increased to thirty. From 100 to 500 consumers patronized the market. 30,000 pounds of rice was sold in two weeks. Market opened in June, 1918.
