Wedding portrait of Mr. and Mrs. E. Randall Sears posed on front porch steps. On June 19, 1928 Catherine McCaffrey married E. Randall Sears at the Christ Presbyterian Church, 2020 Chamberlain Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin. According the June 19, 1929 issue of The Capital Times (p. 8), Miss McCaffrey wore "a formal gown of white satin, the bouffant skirt of which is longer in back than front, and a lace-trimmed veil falling from a closely fitted lace band headdress with orange blossoms on one side." She carried "a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley." |
