Cows on Ice
While en route from Oregon prison farm to Oscar Mayer and Co., three cows were frightened by an ambulance siren on the 700 block of West Washington Avenue and broke out of their truck, escaping to the water-covered ice on Monona Bay along West Shore Drive. Two of the cows are standing in Brittingham Park while Policeman Dominic Schiro isvlooking on. Behind them are houses and two herdsmen. |
