Beth Gehrke, R.N., Monona village's co-chairman for the Monona Grove Red Cross Bloodmobile, is shown holding and gazing upon two three month old babies. The babies are Katie Bard, RH conflict baby, and Jimmy Thomas, hemophiliac. Beth Gehrke worked weekends as a University Hospitals nurse with post heart surgery children who were in need of donated blood supplied by Red Cross. |
