Middleton Airport and Morey Airplane Co.

Howard Morey (left) was associated with most of the airports in Madison. Prior to World War II he managed Madison Municipal Airport and when the military took over that field, Morey moved his operations to Middleton. There he established a private airfield, offered flying instructions, and sold planes such as the Cessna on display here. With Morey is Theodore A. Waterman, manager of Morey's Cessna distributorship. More recently, the Morey Airport became the Middleton Municipal Airport. |
