Texaco Super Service
A Texaco Super Service filling station owned by H.F. Bartsch on the corner of Park and Midland Streets. A home is on the opposite side of Midland Street. Two boys are leaning on the Coca Cola cooler. Cars are parked on each side of the gas pumps. Two attendants pose in uniform while another man stands with his back to the camera. The glass globes on top of the pumps read "Sky Chief," "Texaco" and "Indian Gas." A sign is the window advertises "Stove Gas, Kerosene, Naphtha." |

Additionally, a note that accompanied the image states, "so that would make it 1940 or later." The current address of the building is 1118 South Park Street and the current occupant (in 2013) is The Literacy Network. |
