Poster advertising the premiere of Emile de Antonio's documentary film "In the Year of the Pig," at the Symphony II theater in Boston. Although the film was released in 1968 in a limited screening, this was the official release in Boston on February 26, 1969. Poster has a white border and a black background. At the top of the poster is a white image of a statue from the beginning of film, with the negative reversal next to it. The statue is the Chambersberg Road monument to the 149th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Beneath the image, the title "In the Year of the Pig" appears in white text.
