Refueling a Tri-Motor

Refueling a Ford Tri-Motor airplane. Because gasoline truck hoses did not have pumps, airplanes were refueled by filling 5-gallon cans and then lifting the cans up to the fuel tank. The fuel was then siphoned through a chamois cloth to remove impurities. |
