IH 276 Tractor with B-47 Baler in New Zealand
| This photograph was likely taken by the International Harvester Overseas Division for promotional purposes, and shows a man wearing a short sleeve polo shirt, shorts, and boots driving an International Harvester 276 tractor with a B-47 baler. The original caption to the photograph reads: "Mr. Peter Rapley had just purchased the tractor and baler and was not in a position to appraise but anticipated every satisfaction." The photograph was taken at Sunny Downs Farm on Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe, New Zealand. The tractor model is on the front right of the tractor and has the "McCormick" and "IH" insignia. The front of the tractor reads: "401Y". The baler also has the "IH" and "McCormick" insignia in multiple locations. Behind Mr. Rapley are rolling hills dotted with hay bales, and to the far left a town. |
