Margaret (Roeckel) Miner's granddaughter said of (Roeckel) Miner: "She took a job as a nutritionist under Carson Gulley after she completed college. While working for the UW, she met my grandfather Delbert Miner, a med student who worked under her supervision as a busboy. Carson and his wife became good friends with my grandparents."
