Map of the Town of St. Catherine
Map shows the town of St. Catherine, Wisconsin, between Lake Street and Doty Street as it appeared on January 3, 1852. Map is situated facing north with Lake Winnebago to the west. The bottom margin of the map reads: "A true map of the ghost town of St. Catherine of the township of Stockbridge of Calumet County, Wisc. The map comprises two lots or farms, nos. 16 & 17 (136 acres)." and "Knowable Sources: Courthouse, Platbook no 1, pp. 1 & 2; Surveying by Rev. N. Diedrich & Interviews with Bernard & Bridget McKenney, George Heller & Christian Diedrich." Map also shows location of buildings owned by Thos. McLean, St. Catherine Cemetery, and St. Catherine Church. |
