This vehicle provides the United States Army, Corps of Engineers, with protected mobility and support capacity for the Combat Engineer Squad, ability to accompany and support fast moving armored columns under any terrain condition, a machine which possesses the same land and water mobility and armored protection as does the armored personnel carrier, a self-loading tractor that operates as a bulldozer, scraper, and dump truck, and an air transportable unit. |
